As part of the fellowship, journalists will participate in a two-day, onsite workshop with leaders in various fields of biomedical prevention research, designed to help them better understand and report on research developments from the conference.

HIVR4P journalist fellows will receive conference registration, transportation to and from Chicago, accommodation, most meals, and a per diem. This opportunity is highly selective.
