The Jesuit Refugee Service (JRS) International Office Advocacy Unit is committed to supporting forcibly displaced people, advocating for their rights, and finding sustainable solutions to global migration issues. Therefore, as a volunteer, you will collaborate closely with the Head of the Advocacy Unit to:

There is 1 position available in the Advocacy Unit ๐Ÿ›๏ธ, offering a unique opportunity to contribute directly to meaningful advocacy work. The volunteering role has a duration of 10 months, providing ample time to develop skills, build experience, and create a lasting impact. The start date is 21 January 2025, allowing you to prepare in advance for this enriching experience. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis until June 2027, which gives you the flexibility to apply at the moment that best fits your personal and professional plans.

Write professional reports and messages. Practice public speaking and writing. Improve research and analysis skills.

๐Ÿ“Œ Leadership & Teamwork:
Take part in community outreach. Build coordination and organization skills. Learn about the socio-political and cultural sides of advocacy.

In addition, preferred skills include e-learning content production ๐ŸŽฅ๐Ÿ“š and interest in migration and refugee fields ๐ŸŒ๐Ÿ›๏ธ. Strong organization ๐Ÿ“…, adaptability ๐ŸŒ, Microsoft Office 365 proficiency ๐Ÿ’ป, and excellent interpersonal abilities ๐Ÿค are also valued.
