Higher School of Economics (HSE) University will hold the 7-th Global Scholarship Competition for the 2019/2020 academic year from October 24 to October 31, 2019.
Participation in the Global Scholarship Competition 2020 is free of charge.
Participants of the Competition 2020 have the opportunity to choose between an on-campus (offline) mode and an off-campus (online) mode of participation.
The Competition will cover the following fields of study: Journalism, Cultural Studies, Mathematics, Media Communications, International Relations, Social Sciences (Person. Society. State), Modern Politics, English, Psychology, Asian Studies, Design, History (World History), Physics, Law, Advertising and Public Relations, Philology, and Philosophy.
Please bear in mind that the competitions in the following subjects will be held in Russian only: Design and Philology, Advertising and Public Relations.
The Competition includes one round only. It is intended for those applying for Bachelor degree programmes at the Higher School of Economics.
You may either attend the Competition venue in person or participate in a long-distance mode.
Eligibility to participate at the Competition:
International Venues:
– Age- must be under 30 years-old;
– International (non-Russian) citizens, stateless persons, or Russian nationals living abroad; – – International high school graduates are also welcome to apply;
– Participants must be enrolled in either high school grades 10-11 for 11-year programs or grades 11-12 for 12-year programs.
Domestic Venues (Russia):
– Age- must be under 30 years-old;
– Expats living in Russia.
Benefits
– When applying for undergraduate programs at HSE, winners are eligible for partial scholarships, full-tuition waivers, as well as tuition discounts up to 75%;
– The Scholarship is a great way of career preparation and gain more expertise on a certain domain;
– Scholarship Competition winners will receive early admission decisions;
– Scholarship diplomas are valid for 2 consecutive years following the Competition.
