The Talos Fellowship is structured to provide participants with a deep understanding of AI policy within the European context. The program offers two primary tracks, each tailored to different career aspirations:

Training Track:

EU AI Policy Fundamentals Programme: An 8-week online course that delves into the complexities of tech policy, focusing on AI’s role and impact within the European Union.

Brussels Summit: A 7-day immersive policymaking summit in Brussels, offering firsthand exposure to the EU’s policy environment and direct engagement with policymakers and industry experts.

Career Support: Personalized coaching and support to help fellows confidently initiate their careers in tech policy.

Comprehensive Training: Includes all components of the Training Track.

Professional Placement: A 4-6 month placement at a respected think tank or organization involved in AI policy, providing practical experience and a stipend to support living expenses.

Additionally, the fellowship offers an International AI Governance Specialization for candidates interested in global AI policy dynamics. This specialization includes:

Focused Training: Assignments and readings during the training period designed to develop your thinking on the EU’s role in the international AI governance ecosystem.

Optional Placement: An optional 4-6 month placement at an organization working in the international AI governance space, complemented by a stipend to support your efforts.

Eligibility:
