This training course examines how generational differences influence youth work, promoting adaptive strategies, intergenerational dialogue, and innovative non-formal education approaches for inclusive and effective youth engagement.
πΒ What is it about?
Are you a youth worker, educator, trainer, or facilitator eager to understand how different generations participate in youth work, activism, and learning? This course will help you explore, adapt, and refine youth work practices to stay relevant in a changing generational landscape.
π About the Training
Over six experiential days, participants will analyze the challenges and opportunities of working with youth across generationsβfrom digital natives to those with distinct life experiences. Using non-formal education methods, reflection, and hands-on activities, we will explore:
βοΈ The evolution of youth work and generational dynamics
βοΈ The impact of stereotypes on intergenerational relationships
βοΈ Adapting youth work methods for different generations
βοΈ Fostering cross-generational collaboration and knowledge exchange
βοΈ The role of digitalization in shaping social interactions

By the end of the training, participants will:

The training follows non-formal education principles, focusing on experiential learning, creative expression, and interactive methodologies. Participants will engage in:

Travel Reimbursement
Travel costs will be reimbursed according to Erasmus+ program rules, based on actual expenses and within the allocated limits per country:
- Romania (Hosting Country): No reimbursement
- Neighboring Countries (e.g., Bulgaria, Hungary): Up to β¬180
- Other European Countries (e.g., Germany, France, Italy, Spain): Up to β¬275
- Distant European Countries (e.g., Portugal, Ireland, Finland, Sweden): Up to β¬360
