✨ Description of the ESC Volunteer program in Martinique island

The ESC volunteer program in Martinique is currently searching for three enthusiastic volunteers, who will begin their missions at different starting dates. To start with, participants will have the opportunity to design and lead interactive workshops about Europe 🇪🇺, their own country, and their culture 🎭. In addition, they will engage in creative and artistic activities that foster community participation and cultural exchange.

Furthermore, ESC volunteers will work with children 👧👦, elderly people 👵👴, and families 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 on a variety of meaningful projects, such as:

• Supporting youth skill development 📚 by organizing activities that boost learning and confidence.

• Organizing intercultural workshops for parents and young people 🌐, encouraging mutual understanding and respect.

• Holding information sessions on educational mobility schemes for young people ✈️, ensuring they are aware of the opportunities available to them.

• Arranging testimonial and experience-sharing events about European and international mobility 🗣️

Volunteering program is organised by Association regionale de Martinique des centres d’entrainement aux methodes d’education active.

🏡 ESC Volunteer Accommodation, Food & Transport

To begin with, ESC volunteers will live free of charge in a shared 4-bedroom apartment 🏠 in the capital city, which is conveniently located close to activity locations and public transport 🚍. Moreover, it is within walking distance to shops 🛍️, pharmacies 💊, and administrative offices.

In addition, the benefits include:

• Pocket money 💶 (~€180/month)

👥 ESC Volunteer Participant Profile

First of all, we’re looking for motivated, passionate, and curious individuals 💪 who have a genuine interest in social activities for children, adults, and seniors. Furthermore, having digital skills 💻 and technical support abilities is considered a strong advantage.

As a bonus, a willingness to learn Creole 🗣️ is appreciated, although it is not mandatory. In addition, volunteers should also be ready to share their native languages with the community, thereby fostering intercultural exchange.
