This Erasmus + Training course aims to strengthen the capacity of nine partner organizations from eight European countries by introducing an innovative approach to enhancing youth civic and political participation.

By familiarizing youth workers with polarity thinking and practical tools, the initiative seeks to drive social progress by leveraging the positive aspects of nonpartisan democratic values at all societal levels.

Objectives:

  • Strengthen youth workers’ ability to promote active and meaningful youth engagement in civic and political life.
  • Improve understanding of democratic complexity and equip youth workers with skills to harness the benefits and mitigate the drawbacks of 10 core democratic values, seen as polarities to manage rather than problems to solve.
  • Enable 34 youth workers from 9 organizations across 8 countries to apply the Polarities of Democracy theory to foster inclusive youth participation in democracy.
  • Provide theoretical and practical guidance for launching both bottom-up and top-down youth initiatives using this newly introduced method.
