Join us for the 2nd Youth Work Talks Webinar: “Xcelerating the Recognition of Youth Work”! 📢 This insightful session will be held on 8 April 2025, from 10:00 to 12:00 CET and will offer an exclusive preview of the 4th European Youth Work Convention (EYWC). 🌍✨
This webinar is ideal for anyone interested in the 4th EYWC but unable to attend in person. During the session, participants will gain valuable insights into the Convention’s core themes and overall context 🎯. They will also reflect on how these key themes relate to the recognition of youth work 🎭. Additionally, attendees can share their perspectives to help influence discussions at the Convention in Malta 🇲🇹. Finally, participants will have the opportunity to contribute actively to shaping the Convention’s final outcomes 📜.
The Youth Work Talks series is part of the “Growing Youth Work” partnership—a Strategic Cooperation project involving 16 National Agencies for EU youth programs and SALTO Resource Centres (SNAC). 🌱🇪🇺
This initiative creates a space for professional debate and reflection on pressing youth work issues, with a key focus on recognition. 🎓 Through a series of discussions, we aim to enhance the European professional dialogue on youth work.

ABOUT THE 4th EUROPEAN YOUTH WORK CONVENTION 🌍
Hosted by the Government of Malta, Aġenzija Żgħażagħ, and the European Union Program Agency (EUPA), in collaboration with the EU-Council of Europe Youth Partnership, the 4th European Youth Work Convention will take place in Valletta, Malta, from 27 to 30 May 2025, under the Maltese Chairpersonship of the Council of Europe. 🇲🇹🏛️
Furthermore, under the theme ‘Youth Work Xcelerate,’ this event will highlight youth work as a powerful tool for:
🚀 Empowering young people,
🤝 Fostering inclusion,
and 🗳️ Encouraging active participation.
Additionally, a European Roadmap will be developed to enhance youth work effectiveness and sustainability at national and European levels.
Since 2010, the European Youth Work Conventions, held every five years, have driven innovation, collaboration, and policy development. Consequently, these events unite practitioners, policymakers, researchers, and youth organizations to shape the future of youth work! 🌟
