Description
The OSTEN Biennial of Drawing Skopje 2018 has opened for applications and all artists from around the world are invited to participate.
Artists decide individually upon the size, theme and media or technique of the submitted works.
The selection process will take place in June 2018, the jury will judge at the end of the same month, and the official opening of the OSTEN Biennial of Drawing Skopje 2018 and the announcement of the awards will take place on 18th October 2018 in the city of Skopje, Republic of Macedonia.
The organizer shall cover accommodation expenses of the awarded artists who will announce their presence.
Other criteria
All artists from around the world are invited to participate. Eligible are works completed between 2015 and 2018, including drawings, prints, photos, and other techniques applied on paper.
Award
The organizer of the Biennial, will award many different awards, including the Grand Prix for Life Achievement, the World Cultural Heritage Award, five (5) First Awards (of USD 1,000 each), the IMAF (Imran Mir Art Foundation) Award (of USD 1,000), six Golden OSTEN awards and other special awards and recognitions of the Jury and OSTEN Skopje.
